Rene Transport Ltd. was founded to provide tractor service for Canadian Tire in Western Canada. Yves Rene began as a company driver for Canadian Tire Corporation and became an Owner Operator in 1989. In order to meet Canadian Tire’s demands, the company grew to 3 highway tractors and was incorporated in 1995.

Rene Transport added a Calgary shunt operation in late 2001, a turnpike operation in 2002 and expanded to a fleet of 10 tractor units by 2003.

Due to a vibrant economy and growing client demand, Rene Transport now includes a fleet of over 50 tractor units, shunt trucks, chassis/trailers, dry vans, reefers and flat decks.  Services offered by the company now include truckload service, shunting, warehousing, truck & trailer service and repair, as well as heavy duty towing.
